Scots on the March from Ian Dunn. Edinburgh:
Edinburgh Gay Activists were joined by women from Aberdeen and men from Glasgow on the Edinburgh May Day Parade (held on May 7).
On the same day a number of activists seized the opportunity to lobby the Lord Advocate—Labour MP Ronald King Murray—about Robin Cook's law reform Bill for Scotland.
The Bill was dead, he told them. There was absolutely no chance of the Government granting time for law reform.
Pictured are Edinburgh Gay Activists picketing the Scottish Office, with Bob Orr about to hand in a letter to Secretary of State Bruce Millan.
